This bright and airy apartment is 1 of just 24 unique homes within the building and offers well-appointed accommodation within, including two double bedrooms, an open-plan kitchen/living room, a bathroom and an ensuite shower room to the master. This apartment also benefits from double-glazing throughout, an electric heating system and an impressive energy performance rating of grade C.

Described as a fine example of Edwardian factory architecture and having a subtly asymmetric facade in a style reminiscent of Mackintosh, The K1 building is Grade II for its special architectural or historic interest. The original building dates from 1907 and was originally the HQ of the Kay's Catalogue empire. An impressive building designed by architects J.W. Simpson and Maxwell Ayrton whose other achievements include the original Wembley Stadium.

In 2003, The Neil Grinnall Group gave new life to the building with their vision to bring New York style loft living to Worcester. Built around a large central atrium with an impressive iron-framed roof flooding the area with natural light give the building a welcoming feel.

There is secure access from The Tything at the front and the car park at the rear is accessed from Surman Street. The impressive communal areas are bright, open and welcoming, with spacious hallways retaining many character features. Stairs and a lift rise to the second floor, where Apartment 22 is located.
