The Mews has undergone a meticulous transformation, orchestrated by its current owner, resulting in a breath- taking residence distinguished by its adaptable layout. A key enhancement was achieved by extending into one of the property’s garages, reshaping the ground floor into the heart of the home.
This property now boasts a magnificent open-plan design, featuring a recently installed Howdens kitchen, a cosy seating enclave and an inviting dining space. Natural light floods the room, accentuating its airy ambiance, thanks to strategically placed windows on the front and side, including elegant French windows that gracefully open onto the delightful gardens.
In addition to this remarkable overhaul, the property has been graced with a refitted bathroom, a new front door and updated bespoke windows, all meticulously chosen to preserve the inherent character of this property. Furthermore, a brand-new heating system has been installed, ensuring modern comfort throughout the entire space.
Entrance
Nestled amidst the majestic parkland of Bevere, where ancient trees stand sentinel and individual homes dot the landscape, it’s easy to lose yourself in the tranquillity, all while being a mere 2 miles from the bustling heart of Worcester.
As you journey along Bevere Lane and approach Bevere House, you are greeted by a sweeping driveway that leads you past the main residence to the secluded sanctuary known as The Mews, quietly tucked away on the west side of the estate.
Hallway
Upon entry, you are greeted by a choice of pathways allowing you to step directly into the heart of the home through French windows opening into the kitchen or enter through the main doorway, flanked by a wall-mounted electric heater.
The hallway, adorned with a cloaks cupboard and a staircase ascending to the first floor, serves as the central hub, branching off into various spaces. Opposite the staircase is the utility room, with a rear-facing window and ample space for appliances.
Kitchen
The kitchen, a vision of brightness, boasts a dual aspect, with sash windows gracing the front and side and French windows that invite natural light in. Recently revamped in the summer of 2023, this space features a meticulously designed Howdens kitchen.
The sleek white quartz work surface seamlessly integrates a double oven and a sink with a mixer tap, while a central island offers additional storage and an integrated induction hob. A floor- to-ceiling pantry cupboard along with an integrated fridge and dishwasher, adds to the kitchen’s functionality. This culinary haven effortlessly transitions into a roomy dining area, illuminated by inset spotlights and boasting a wall-mounted electric heater.
Living Room
Ascending to the first floor, you will discover a landing with doors leading to various chambers.
The living room, commanding in its spaciousness, offers a bay window that frames the picturesque garden views. An electric heater provides warmth, while the prospect of a log burner (for which permission has been granted) promises cosy evenings.
Bedroom One
The master bedroom delights with two bespoke sash windows offering garden vistas, accompanied by an electric heater.
Bedroom Two
A second bedroom, generously sized, overlooks the rear through its window, complemented by a wall-mounted electric heater.
Bedroom Three
Adjacent to the living room, a versatile space awaits, ideal for use as a study/office or third bedroom complete with a window and electric heater.
Bathroom
The recently renovated bathroom boasts modernity and style, featuring a shower cubicle, washbasin and low-level WC. Tiled walls and floors exude elegance, accentuated by a ladder-style chrome heated towel rail and an obscure- glazed window to the rear.
Gardens and Grounds
Outside, the property is embraced by meticulously landscaped gardens, offering expanses of lush lawns interspersed with mature trees and shrubs. Ample parking space completes the picture.
