This pretty cottage has amazing potential to become an ideal country abode with some updating and modernising. The property has two reception rooms, a farmhouse-style kitchen, a pantry, a conservatory and a shower room situated on the ground floor. Upstairs, there are two good-sized bedrooms.

Outside, the mature gardens are generous in size and wrap around the property to the front, side and rear. There is also ample parking.

Entrance
The entrance to the property is accessed via a few steps up to the front door, which opens onto a welcoming hallway featuring a window to the front, a staircase rising to the first floor and doors to the living room and the dining room.

Living room
Situated to the left side of the property is a spacious living room which has a feature fireplace with a wood/coal burner and wooden surround at its focal point. Although currently out of use, the wood/coal burner could easily be reinstated.

There are beams to the ceiling, a window with stunning views to the front aspect, a window to the side and a door accessing the kitchen.

Dining room
Accessed from the hallway on the right-hand side is a dining room featuring a beam to the ceiling and a large bay window to the front providing wonderful views.

Kitchen
The farmhouse-style kitchen has wall and base units, with work surfaces over incorporating a stainless-steel sink with a drainer and mixer tap set nicely in front of the window overlooking the garden. There is tiling to the splashbacks, quarry tiled floor, space for a slot-in cooker, space under counter for a washing machine and space for a tall fridge freezer.

The kitchen has additional storage provided by a good-sized airing cupboard and a pantry featuring a window to the rear elevation.

From the kitchen, a door accesses the rear lobby, with doors to the ground floor shower room and the conservatory.

Shower room
The shower room comprises a low-level WC, a washbasin, a sizeable shower cubicle, tiling to the wall and splashbacks and two obscure-glazed windows to the rear elevation.

Conservatory
Situated to the side of the property is the conservatory, which has a door to the outside and lovely views over the garden.

First floor
The landing grants access to two bedrooms and a storage cupboard.

Bedroom one
Bedroom one is a good-sized double room situated to the left side of the property featuring a heater and a window to the side providing pleasant views over the garden.

Bedroom two
The second bedroom is a good-sized room and has a heater and stunning views from the window at the front.

Garden
The impressive gardens that come with this home do not disappoint. The gardens wrap around the property to the front, side and rear. There is an excellent selection of apple, damson, pear and fig trees, and the lawned gardens feature meandering pathways throughout. There is scope for redevelopment here, subject to the usual planning permissions.

The garden has an immense sense of privacy and tranquillity, which is enhanced by the glorious location and the mature trees and hedgerows to the boundaries. The garden backs onto and has access to a neighbouring field. There is also a useful brick outhouse and two sheds found within the grounds.
