This remarkable Victorian family home, constructed in 1882, was originally a vicarage and proudly preserves its original character and charming features. These include its handsome high-pitched gable ends, decorative brickwork with Dentate lines and Plinth. The main residence spans over an impressive 7,000 sq. ft. and is complemented by a separate two-bedroom detached cottage, all gracefully situated amidst sprawling south-facing gardens bordering open fields.

The main dwelling and cottage underwent meticulous renovation and an extension in 2011 to the most exacting and highest standard, including the installation of all new plumbing, heating systems, boilers, radiators, electrical wiring, flooring and underfloor heating.

Additionally, new energy efficient double glazed large picture windows, floor-to-ceiling lights and patio doors have been added to maximise natural light whilst minimising drafts.

Formal lounge
The large formal lounge features high ceilings and three large windows that flood the room with natural light, providing magnificent views of the garden and grounds. French doors lead out to the stone balustrade sun patio, creating an ideal space for summertime entertaining.

Enhancing the ambiance, there are two antique working fireplaces that serve as delightful focal points, adding warmth and character to the room.

Formal dining room and sun lounge
To the rear of the property and accessed through double doors from the kitchen, is a beautiful sun lounge and formal dining room, well suited for hosting large dinner parties. The lounge exudes opulence, featuring a large Regency fireplace, marble pillars and a dropped ceiling.

At the heart of this home is a magnificent Rational German kitchen, complete with bespoke Corian and granite work surfaces. The High gloss floor to ceiling units, large deep drawers, top-of-the-range Miele appliances, and breakfast table with seating for six make this space exceptional.
