Property Valuation and Appraisal by Experienced Property Experts

Whether you are buying or selling, Andrew Grant will provide you with everything that you need.

Online Valuation Service. When you are selling we provide access to the Zoopla Free Valuation service via our website. This will give you an instant guide price, but if you would like a full appraisal of your property and a discussion on the current state of the market, make an appointment for a personal visit by one of our experienced agents.

As for the selling process itself, getting the best value for your home can only be achieved by finding the buyer who is willing and able to pay the most for it, within your time frame. This may sound obvious but the traditional agency approach works against it.

Any valuer’s opinion is simply an estimate. If it is too high your property may not generate any interest, if it is too low you may lose many thousands of pounds.

Our method, although involving much more work than the standard agency approach, guarantees best results in the vast majority of cases.

We focus on maximising buyer interest and generating the competition required to meet or exceed the agreed target price and time line.

We are ready and able to help you every step of the way, total professionalism being assured throughout.

Plus, we always advertise using the best platforms like Rightmove, so if you want to sell your home, you could not be in safer hands.

Why should you select Malvern as the perfect place to call home (or why would someone want to buy your home there)?

The first thing that strikes you when you visit Malven is the beautiful countryside, dominated as it is by the hills that bear the town's name. It has a rich history too, it being one of the handful of Spa Towns in the UK. Indeed it was in the 19th century that the population of Malvern really took off, this due to some degree to the spring waters that also bear its name today.

The history of the region goes much further back than the 19th century though, right back to 250BC in fact, the hill fort named the British Camp, which lies near to the town is dated as being inhabited up to 48AD.

The original town centre is on the steep flank of the Worcestershire Beacon, but has since expanded and now includes areas like Pickersleigh, Howsells and the parishes of Newland, Madresfield, Guariford, Great Malvern and of course Malvern Wells.

Today the population is around 31,000, many of whom no doubt commute to the nearby city of Worcester, others being tempted by the lovely countryside (it is designated as an area of Outstanding Beauty).

Transport links are good too, the main A449 running through the centre of the town, meaning that the M5 and M50, Worcester and Ledbury are all easily reached. There are two train stations offering regular services to Birmingham, Hereford and London. And if you want to go to those far away places, Birmingham Airport is reasonably close.

The Malvern Shopping Park is packed full of top brands, with M&S, Next, New Look and Matalan being just a selection. The parking is free too. And if you prefer smaller independent shops, then look no further than the three town centres of Great Malvern, Barnards Green and Malvern Link. Here, you will find a vast assortment of goods, from arts and crafts to local cheeses.

Entertainment at its best can be found in Malvern too, the world-famous Malvern Theatre hosting some of the best plays and musical events in the UK. It also has a cinema and a restaurant, making it an ideal place to spend your leisure time.

There are no concerns regarding education establishments either, there being no less than thirteen primary schools in the area, together with two high schools, and a Sports college. There are also a number of independent schools and colleges.

The property in the area sells well too, the average price for homes and properties being the region of £345,000 over the past 12 months, this meaning that prices have risen by 8% when compared to the peak in 2021 (and 2% over 2023). This figure is mostly made up of sales of detached homes (average price circa £493,000). Semi detached prices were in the region of £321,000 with flats selling for more than £208,000.

In conclusion, Malvern is a great place to live, with a vibrant community, fantastic scenery, excellent schools, and easy access to the rest of Worcestershire and beyond.
